Siamo nate e cresciute in una casa in toscana immersa nella campagna, i nostri genitori, in particolare la nostra mamma che ha fatto anche studi artistici, ci hanno sempre portato nei mercatini antiquari la domenica, fin da piccole. Spesso poi stavamo con lei a restaurare e dipingere i vari mobiletti comprati. Mi ricordo da piccole ci fece dipingere le sedie per camera nostra tutte rosa con cuori e fiorellini. Nostro padre ci ha sempre spinto a fare un lavoro che ci piacesse, lui amava il suo lavoro e ci diceva sempre: il lavoro è una cose che fai per otto ore algiorno o più per tutti i giorni della tua vita, è importante che voi facciate qualcosa che amate per essere felici. Anche questo fa parte della nostra infanzia, nostro padre ci ha sempre fatto vivere in mezzo "ai tessuti". Ci raccontate questa esperienza cinematografica? </div><div> </div><div>E' nata un pò per caso, ci hanno contattate dopo essersi imbattuti nelle vetrine del nostro store di Roma (In Via Arenula). Ci hanno parlato di questo progetto e siamo state davvero onorate di poter partecipare all'arredamento della villa che ospitava il film. La villa era bellissima e valorizzava al meglio i nostri prodotti. Purtroppo non abbiamo conosciuto gli attori (che peccato!), ma abbiamo organizzato una festa il giorno dell'uscita del film, con dipendenti ed amici affittando una intera sala cinematografica. Noi amiamo le candele sempre accese, le fragranze per ambiente, foto ovunque, gabbie, alzatine e libri antichi. Lo shabby è anche una questione di "patina" non solo di colore, acquistare un mobile bianco e basta può non dare l'effetto desiderato, noi lavoriamo molto sulle patine, le invecchiature, l'effetto delabrè, le scrostature delle superfici. Per i tessuti amiamo i tessuti naturali, lino e cotone sempre sui toni naturali . Talvolta amiamo inserire del colore, come ad esempio questa primavera abbiamo puntato molto sul rosa e sull'azzurro, ma abbiamo una ricerca quasi maniacale del "punto di colore" che sia rispondente alle nostre aspettative. I tessuti devono essere sempre coordinati, e sono l'elemento fondamentele per definire una casa ed una stanza. è anche fondamentale che la casa parli di noi, l'elemento vecchio deve parlare del nostro passato, una vecchia foto, una cappelliera dei nonni, un ricordo dei bambini piccoli. La cosa che amiamo di più in assoluto è creare, metterci insieme a tavolino e domandarci  e adesso cosa creiamo?. Dopo un pò di brainstorming buttiamo sul tavolo montagne di nastri tessuti, campioni di patine e quadratini di pantoni e cominciamo a definire le nuove collezioni. La parte della ricerca è altrettanto divertente, andare per mercerie mercatini negozi di tutto il mondo a scovare un'idea da trasformare. Talvolta l'idea può venire ovunque, in una pasticceria, al ristorante, in un negozio di abbiglaimento, lavoriamo sempre, la nostra mente è sempre in modalità"ricerca" anche in vacanza!  L'altra cosa bella è lavorare in famiglia, talvolta può essere difficile, ma abbiamo una famiglia unita e lavorare in famiglia ci fornisce un senso di affidabilità e di serenità che non potremmo avere altrimenti. Entrambe abbiamo avuto la fortuna di poterci riservare un angolino tutto nostro con scrivania computer e macchina da cucire. Entrambe abbiamo una parete attrezzata colma di perline, nastri passamanerie, tessuti, bottoni e fili ... è il nostro angolo antistress! Il nostro mondo! Lavorare in un'azienda in stragrande maggioranza femminile comporta però un grande impegno e sforzo di organizzazione da parte nostra  perchè dobbiamo conciliare spesso lunghe assenze per maternità, part time e permessi. Il tutto ci viene però ripagato dall'estrema professionalità e dedizione che le nostre collaboratrici ci riservano, e poi si sa... le donne hanno una marcia in più. Queste sedie sono un design del 1948,  opera di <a href="http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Eames" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Charles Eames</a>   Visto come si fondono bene anche con altri stili? I love particularly DSR Chairs, as these in the two pictures: the first one is a nordic living room, while the second one mixes up together different elements. These chairs are a design by <a href="http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Eames" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Charles Eames</a> from 1948.
